The International Volunteer Minister
hotline is currently receiving over a
hundred calls a day from caring people
wanting to donate or help relief efforts
in South-East Asia. Many Scientology
Volunteer Ministers are already at the
disaster sites, but much more help is
needed.

The Volunteer Minister Program is a
worldwide movement open to anyone who
recognizes the world must change and wants
to make a difference.
What makes the Volunteer Minister
Program unique is its practical technology
that can be directly applied to a host of
human concerns. With a workability as
precise as any science, a technology is
available that you can use to counsel
others effectively and help them. Simply
stated, the Volunteer Minister Program
provides practical help that truly works.
Right where you are, on a part-time
basis, you can take effective action to
improve the state of the world and do more
good for others than was ever before
possible.
For more than a quarter century, the
Volunteer Ministers Program has crossed
all national, racial, political and
religious boundaries in more than 150
countries to help people deal successfully
with the upheavals of existence and
restore order, dignity and happiness to
their lives.
Yes, it’s an imperfect world. And
growing more chaotic and insecure. Many
people direly need help. But many others
want to help. And the Volunteer Minister
Program is the most effective way there is
for you to foster one of the most basic
and best of human virtues — the urge to
assist one’s fellows.
This is a program that brings positive
change wherever it is used. Every action
you take to advance it helps to build a
world more in keeping with what you really
want. No rational person wants our world
as it currently is: conflict, strife,
economic stresses and uncertainty.
Something can be done about them. Workable
means do exist, and you can learn to use
them. They are simple, but powerful.
Thousands of people like you are using
them right now to help themselves, their
families, their neighbors and their
communities. Combined, the efforts of
Volunteer Ministers are making a better
world. From the perspective of what we see
on the nightly news, they are not a moment
too soon.
